Authentically handcrafted, each of our carefully and skilfully designed and created pieces are unique and feature all the characteristics and individuality you would expect of a rustic product.

Specifications

The vast majority of items are made from locally sourced, reclaimed wood and as such, will feature the traditional characteristics of this type of material.

Such elements can include cracks, scrapes, minor splits and knots and we find that it is these features that add genuine character and individuality to each piece.

The product descriptions will include dimensions and wherever possible, such specifications are as accurate as possible however please note that there may be variances to these.

Additionally, product photographs aim to display the item colour(s) as accurately as possible but please be aware that due to individual settings, there may be variances between the colours you see on the screen on your device and the item. Should you require absolute precise details, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

Condition

Although carefully hand selected and finished, our reclaimed materials will show signs of their previous incarnation.

It is important to us that we make it clear that due to the nature of the materials we use in our products, our products are rarely perfect in their appearance. We do not ordinarily use brand new wood and thus the finished items are not the same as a brand new item made in volume on a production line.

We encourage customers to carefully read the product descriptions and closely view the product images to ascertain the condition and finish of the item.  

Finishes

Our customers love our range of handcrafted rustic products and especially those items made with reclaimed wood.

We ensure that each piece is carefully treated and then manually finished to ensure a smooth and pleasing finish whilst maintaining the overall rustic character of the piece. On occasion there are exceptions to this and should this be the case it will be clearly highlighted in the product description.

Salvaged Items

Items that have been salvaged or reclaimed are classed as used and normally will be sold as seen. The product descriptions will always carefully denote the source and condition of each item. These pieces will again show signs of use.
